Oh Vicentina

World where I'm chased by myself. Refuge. I need refuge. Oh, Vicentina, where are you when I can't find peace? If I could I'd take you in my pocket, take your silence and emptiness, that I infinitely look for around earth. Your salt, your rocks. I'd extinguish my silence and emptiness, which I always try to do... I'd take your seagulls and cattle bells. Your life, your emotion. My apathy, my confusion... Oh Vicentina, I look for you and for the day that I will see you again, but I have to go to where life awaits me. And one day, I'll leave it behind, once again, and I will come meet you, where you always await me. And that day, I'll be happy.

Dear Vicentina

Dear Vicentina,
I've been chasing myself around. I wasn't kidding when I said I needed refuge. I miss your life and emotion. Your silence and emptiness, so far away from my apathy and confusion. I dreamt about you last night. About your salt and your rocks. I'm still waiting for the day when I'll see you again, but for now, the world still spins, and my life still awaits me. I wonder if you thought of me today, because everyday I think of you and what you do, when I'm not around. As I told you when I left, one day I'll leave my life behind, to come see you. And with every sleepless night, it grows closer, as does my happiness.
See you soon,
Ana
